Aiden had peas for the first time this past weekend. Needless to say, he did not enjoy them as much as he enjoyed carrots. He has gotten better with them, but the first few bites took awhile to get down.
We are still giving rice cereal to Aiden twice a day, but we have also added carrots to the mix. Aiden has really taken to them- I think he'd eat anything, though :)
Yum... carrots!
Looking so innocent before the carrot eating!
I can feed myself! (not)
Give me that!
Carrot face :)
Big bite
Cheese!!
That bite wasn't so good (he actually choked himself on the spoon)
Aiden had rice cereal for the first time last weekend. He did really well with it. At first he wasn't sure how to eat it, but by the end, he was pretty good at it. The second night we tried it he did not like it at all. I think he was really hungry and the food wasn't coming fast enough. We have given him rice cereal almost every night since then.
Aiden has woken up a few nights with an arm or a leg stuck through his crib. He doesn't wake up happy when that happens. We know that standard bumpers aren't safe- danger of suffocation. So we got some mesh, breathable bumpers. Since then- no more stuck arms and legs.
For Halloween Aiden was a pumpkin- the cutest pumpkin ever! We didn't go trick-or-treating, but Aiden did help pass out candy. We had about 20 trick-or-treaters. Better than the 5 from last year.
The weather was so nice this past Saturday, that we just had to go on a walk. This was the first time Aiden rode in the stroller without the car seat. He did just great!
He also got to try out his new sunglasses. So cute!
