Good News!

We had our 33 week appointment this morning and received good news!  The placenta (attached to the uterus) has moved as the uterus grew and is now on the side of my uterus.  No more low-lying placenta!

New Ultrasound Pictures

At our 20 week ultrasound the images showed I had a low-lying placenta.  This means the placenta is low on the uterus, versus on the side of it.  Usually, as the uterus grows, the placenta will move on its own.  Because of this, I had another ultrasound at 32 weeks to check and see where the placenta is.  We are waiting to hear the results.  One positive to this is that we got to see some new pictures of our little guy.  Enjoy!

A picture of his arm in front of his face.  He did not want to move his arms away from his face; he must be camera shy.

Big yawn!

Look at those cute cheeks and cute nose and cute lips and cute....

Baby's Room Part 2

All the painting is done and it looks fabulous!  My (our) next project is to reorganize the closets and find a place for everything in the computer room.  As some of you know, this used to be our guest bedroom.  We are moving the bed into the computer room, which means we have some stuff to get rid of!  It's a bit of organized chaos right now with things in new places.

A shot from the other side of the room.

A shot of the window and book shelf.  We're hoping to get a glider to put in this corner.
We think we like the crib positioned this way better.

The changing table and crib fully assembled and in the right room!

The furniture is finished!

Day 2 of painting- two coats for the dresser and one more for the bookshelf.

The Baby's Room

And here they are after.  It took two coats, but they look great!

And the drawers before.

We already have a bookshelf and 2 dressers we plan to use in the room.  However, they were too close to the wall color.  We decided to paint them dark brown (hoping to match the crib and changing table).  This was the bookshelf before.

All done with the walls- they look great!

Doug did all the painting.  He said he didn't want the fumes to hurt me or the baby.  I was glad to oblige!

Getting the walls all taped up.
