Dancing Baby

While it may appear that Aiden never wears clothes- that's not true.  In this case, I had just changed his diaper and he was really sweaty.  So, I took his clothes off, because I knew he was going to have a bath within a half an hour.  Plus, he really does love being in just his diaper.

Ok, now on to the video.  Aiden was being such a goof and 'dancing' to the music played by his toy.  He also thought he was very amusing.

Karate, Laughing, Waving and Talking on his Phone

This video showcases Aiden doing a plethora of things.

1. He thought it was hilarious if I 'karate chopped' him or 'gave him the elbow'. 
2. He loves giving hugs and kisses.
3. He waves hello.  He usually does this if we prompt him by saying hello or goodbye.  Sometimes we have to initiate the wave, but then he'll keep doing it.
4. A sign of the times?  Aiden loves to 'talk' on his phone.  Anything can be the phone (actual phone, toy, hand, remote, etc), but he does love the actual phone.

Aiden is walking all over the place!  He has almost mastered the 'squat and pick up' without falling over, as well.  Here's a video of a short walk.  At first, he's mad because I moved to the other side of the room (he's a bit of a Mama's boy). Then he realizes I have a puff! He will walk without bribing, but we wanted the video :)

We went out to eat at Applebees (thanks for the gift cards Bruce and Deb!) and Aiden made a friend.  A 7-year old (or so) girl sat at the table next to us and he couldn't get enough of her.  She kept turning her head and making faces, so he'd turn his head, aka lay it down.  He also got on his 'phone' and was talking.

Wherever we are, Aiden wants to be.  That includes the kitchen.  He loves to open the cupboards and climb in/on the dishwasher.

So, because of the crazy hair, we got it cut!  My Aunt Mary cut it (basically just trimmed up the crazy sides and long back).  He looks like such a big boy now!

Delay in Postings

Sorry for the VERY long delay in my postings.  It has been a busy last month.  I am a junior class sponsor, which meant we had prom this year.  We had prom last weekend and Doug and I were both chaperons. Ashley came and stayed with us for the weekend and watched Aiden.  It went very well and I had a great group of girls for planning/decorating.  While it was a good experience, I'm glad it's done!

Another cause for the delay was my grad school.  I am PROUD to say that I have completed two years of grad school and my program (Master's of Education: Differentiated Instruction).  My last course was a lot of work, but I did it!
